Silvia Cignoli is a guitarist, sound artist and composer. She ranges from experimental to ambient music, from radical improvisation to avant-rock from glitch-noise music to dream-pop creations, always combining her academic background and the underground electronic scene. In her works, a refined timbre research on augmented guitar, keyboards, electronics, analogue toys, signal processors and sound objects, converges to create contemplative, suspended settings, in which the sound material, often poised between presence and absence, designs imaginative soundscapes between underwater and astral settings but tended to explosion. In 2019 she published her first solo album “The Wharmerall” (Pitch the Noise Records, IT), described by critics like “Alchemical, deeply enigmatic” (P. Trotta, SoWhat), “INTENSE WORK” (M.
